Kenwood TS 950 SDX Voodoo Modified

The Voodoo modified Kenwood 950 SDX definitely has a cult following. It's an ESSB silky smooth machine that can really go wide if you want to with a very clean signal (our unofficial testing shows 4K to just up to 9K on the widest setting). In addition the transmitter and receiver have been extensively modified for some pretty amazing audio response. Even has a internal Jensen transformer for a direct connection to the rack allowing Line Audio injection into the DSP. The audio on these radios are pure Voodoo soft and silky.
Here's a link to a few of the mods and details on how to do them. Unfortunately many of the really cool mods done by Voodoo Labs are not listed including the INRAD 8k crystal filter custom made for Voodoo Labs and there's so much more however.... it's top secret.
This link also provides information on the simple power on mod that will allow a unmodified 950 SDX to to transmit and receive up to 6.7 Kc wide although without all the audio mods.
The radio pictured has officially been rebranded by Voodoo Labs as Voodoo Modified SDX #26 or VMSDX #26 and is the daily driver at our station.
