The T.C Electronic Triple C Multiband Compressor... Amazing unit.
Want to add a little WOW to your audio then give this gem a spot in the rack. The frequency separation on this unit is pretty darn good and it adds an extra dimension to the audio that is really amazing along with leveling everything out. This multiband band compressor has the ability to separate the frequencies into three bands so you can select the amount of compression and effect separately for the lows, mids and highs then recombine back into a single mix. You can adjust the lows to add thickness and smoothing then the mid range for definition and clarity and the highs for sibilance and tearing. The final results are almost a three dimensional effect that really opens up the audio. A better approach than the one size fits all from a single band compressor. The best spot for the Triple C is at the end of the rack and just before any unit that adds reverb or plating.
The Triple C is no longer in production however can be found on the used market between $190 and $300.
